Inversion exercise:

1. Imagine you've achieved the OPPOSITE of your goal
   - You failed catastrophically
   - What does that look like?

2. Work backwards: What would cause this failure?
   - Bad decisions
   - Neglected areas
   - Wrong priorities
   - Team failures
   - External factors you didn't prepare for

3. For each failure cause, ask:
   - How likely is this?
   - How obvious was the warning sign?
   - Could you have prevented it?
   - What would detection look like?

4. Now reverse:
   - What MUST you do to avoid each failure?
   - What's the opposite action?
   - What should you invest in preventing this?

5. Success criteria:
   - Instead of 'achieve X'
   - Think: 'reliably avoid not-X'
   - Are these different plans?
